Designed by Miriam Lenarts, the BAROQUE Collection brings together traditional lace craftsmanship and contemporary knitwear in a refined series of jackets, jumpers, skirts and delicate lace scarves.
For centuries, lace has been associated with elegance, refinement and luxury. Inspired by this rich textile heritage, a nearly century-old piece of hand-crocheted lace and the historical legacy of the noblewomen of Thorn, BAROQUE reinterprets the ornamental beauty of traditional lace for women today.
A CELEBRATION OF CRAFTSMANSHIP
At the heart of BAROQUE lies the combination of two traditional techniques, each requiring precision, patience and skilled craftsmanship.
The Extra Fine Merino Wool sections are fully fashioned on a hand-operated knitting machine, with each individual piece knitted directly into its intended shape rather than cut from larger pieces of knitted fabric. This precise method of construction allows for carefully shaped garments while minimising material waste.
The intricate lace borders are crocheted by hand, stitch by stitch, using exceptionally soft First Class Baby Alpaca. Each lace border is then carefully hand-sewn onto the edges of the knitted fabric. Any excess knitwear is delicately trimmed away and the edges are meticulously finished.
From shaping the knitwear to crocheting the lace and assembling the final garment, every stage involves time, attention and craftsmanship. The result is a distinctive interplay of fine textures, delicate ornamentation and carefully considered construction.

CONTEMPORARY ELEGANCE
The jackets offer an elegant, couture-inspired silhouette, while the jumpers present a more understated interpretation of the decorative lace.
The skirts feature a refined shape with a beautifully detailed back slit, while the delicate triangular scarves can be worn over the hair or fastened around the neck as a distinctive accessory.
Designed to be worn and enjoyed, the individual pieces can be combined to create looks ranging from relaxed sophistication to more formal elegance.
THREE DISTINCTIVE COLOUR STORIES
BAROQUE is presented in three carefully composed colour combinations:
Francisca — deep anthracite grey and rich chocolate brown
Gabriella — soft beige and medium grey
Eleonora — muted dusty rose and warm chocolate brown
Each colour combination is also available in a reversed version, offering six colour arrangements per design.
The different pieces can be combined across the collection, allowing for a personal interpretation of BAROQUE through colour, texture and silhouette.
MADE ESPECIALLY FOR YOU
Unlike conventional ready-to-wear, BAROQUE is created exclusively on a Made-to-Order basis.
You select your preferred design, size and colourway. Your chosen garment is then individually produced in the Netherlands, following the established designs and patterns of the collection.
Garments are available in sizes Small, Medium and Large, with an estimated production time of three weeks.
By creating each piece only upon request, Studio Myr embraces a more considered approach to fashion, combining exceptional natural fibres, traditional craftsmanship and thoughtful production.
